I will be happy when....I will be happy when "I can draw well".
I will be happy when "I have lots of money".
I will be happy when "I have my dream home".
(Notice that, although there is always a variable, the ultimate goal is happiness; surely that's what everybody wants?)
The problem with this, is that your happiness is always pending... it is always in the future, and never NOW. Unfortunately, we don't live in the future, we live in the now.
So I asked myself: "am I any less deserving of happiness because I am not a size 10? Or because I don't own a Top Billing home? So, I've decided to change my internal dialogue to "I will be happy... full stop"
